Thank
you for your interest. Founded in 1987 on Hilton Head Island,
The Vacation Company is a short-term rental and property management
firm. We manage over 195 quality villas and custom homes on
Hilton Head. Because we understand that our most important
asset is our service to our owners and guests, we continue
to be one of the fastest growing management companies on the
island.
Vacation
Company owners, Bob Hawkins and Beth Henzler, are long-time
Hilton Head residents and, along with their staff, know what
makes a great vacation experience for guests and a great management
experience for owners.
In 2002,
we added over one hundred luxury villas on the Caribbean Islands
of St. Martin and Barbados to our inventory. These gorgeous
homes are located on two of the largest and most popular islands.
They are easily reached by air, with direct flights from most
East Coast
cities. We can now offer sunny island holidays for all seasons.

personal relationship with each of our owners is the key to
our continued success. We know owners have unique needs so
we’re flexible in our policies. Our marketing and property
management programs give owners a very real edge in this very
competitive market.

Housekeeping
& Maintenance: It’s All in the Details.
Our main
housekeeping companies are small and tightly controlled by
hands-on owners. These owners and our own inspectors insure
the very highest quality and attention to detail. Our owners
demand nothing less. About one third of our rental properties
are ocean-oriented houses. For these houses we have an increased
service level that includes close supervision of landscaping,
pool maintenance and pest control. We also make on-going suggestions
to owners on décor enhancements that will add to rental
revenue by satisfying guests.
